There are 2 states of mind that happen during playing the Ace Attorney games.

1. Phoenix is all ‘I’ve got this, I know exactly what’s going on, this is easy’ and you’re sat there like ‘wtf is happening. What even? What’s going on? I have no idea what to do’

OR

2. Phoenix is panicking like ‘shit I did not expect this, I don’t know what to do, is this really the end?’ and you’re violently tapping the screen and yelling because you could see this plot twist from a mile away and you just want them to get on with it because you know exactly what evidence you need to present. 

And there is literally no in between.
